We are pleased to announce that the congress can offer specials grants for participants from low income countries.
The conditions to apply for a grant are: You have to submit an abstract and you are living in one of the listed countires.
Please find all countries listed here.
Please contact the congress-office for the application form.
Please note that only 100 participants can be supported on a first come first serve-basis! As soon as you have submitted your abstract the scientific committee will decide about your application.

The deadline for on-line registration is June 19, 2012 (extended deadline)
Registrations received after June 19, 2012 will be processed on-site.

What is covered by the registration fee?

Registration fee for WONCA direct members, delegates, junior doctors, trainees and students includes:

  • Admission to all scientific sessions
  • Admission to poster exhibition and technical exhibition
  • Conference materials (delegates bag, final programme, abstract book, etc.)
  • Opening ceremony and welcome reception
  • Coffee breaks and lunches in the conference area (Thursday, July 5 & Friday, July 6, 2012)
  • Festive reception at the Town Hall (registration is necessary, limited attendance)

Registration fee for accompanying persons includes:

  • Opening ceremony and welcome reception
  • Coffee breaks and lunches in the conference area (Thursday, July 5 & Friday, July 6, 2012)
  • Festive reception at the Town Hall (registration is necessary, limited attendance)
  • No Admission to lectures!

The specified documents are to be submitted jointly with the registration form:

  • graduation diploma (junior doctors)
  • letter of confirmation from the head of the department and a copy of the student ID
  • member certificate (Wonca direct members)

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation must be notified in writing to the secretariat by fax (+43 1 407 82 74) or by e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Registration fees to be refunded as follows:
- on or before March 15, 2012 → 50% refund
- after March 15, 2012→ no refund
The date of the receipt of fax or mail will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate your bank details (Bank name and address, account holder, account number, IBAN and BIC) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the Congress.
Please do not perform a bank transfer after June 15, 2012.
