If you want to improve your medical skills or try new instruments come to our Skills Lab Room.
Here you can find eight stands:

  • AED
  • ECG with SDS module (sudden death screening)
  • spirometry
  • fetus sonography
  • handsfree therapeutic sonography
  • ABI Boso
  • QuickRead for CRP
  • ambulatory blood pressure measurement

For registered persons we offer a small logbook, where you can find description of each therapeutic method and instructions for use. You can easily go through the instructions and then practise some tasks. After completing all of these stands, you will get the certificate of attendance.

The possibility to try out modern equipment for general practitioners‘ practices at the WONCA Prague 2017 (2nd floor)

Dear colleagues,

If you would like to try out the operation of modern medical devices designed for general practitioners‘ offices, come to the second floor, room “skills lab” on June 29–30. There are 8 stands (spirometry, ECG with detection of sudden death risk, automatic rehabilitation device, ABI measurement, automatic external defibrillator, CRP machine, diagnostic ultrasound and 24 hour blood pressure measurement). It is not a commercial presentation but an independent testing of individual methods.

How will the room be organized?

  • First, register for the exact time at the registration desk (on Wednesday, June 28) or directly in front of the room on the 2nd floor (June 29–30).
  • After registering, you will receive the „Skills Lab Guide“ brochure, with short texts for each method. If you read it in advance, it will make it easier to implement the method.
  • Come at your chosen time (preferably 5–10 minutes before)
  • You will be helped by the assistant in. At the each stand there will be the appropriate device, an introduction to the method and the exact procedure.
  • In case of difficulty, the designated staff will help you in the „skills lab“ room.
  • The time is 4.5 minutes for each station. Please keep in mind so that other colleagues can try out the method. You will be notified of the time limit by a timer and an acoustic signal: first after 4.5 minutes = complete the method and go to the next station, the second after 5 minutes = start at the next station
  • After successfully passing all the stands, you will receive a graduation certificate.
  • „The working language“ will be: English, Spanish and Czech.

Možnost vyzkoušet si moderní přístroje určené pro ordinace praktických lékařů na kongresu WONCA 2017 (2. patro)

Milé kolegyně a kolegové,

pokud byste si chtěli vyzkoušet fungování moderních lékařských přístrojů určených pro ordinace praktických lékařů, přijďte do druhého patra, místnosti skills lab 29. a 30. června po celý den. V mísnosti je 8 stanovišť (spirometrie, EKG s modulem automatického odhalení rizika náhlého úmrtí, automatický rehabilitační přístroj, ABI měřič, automatický externí defibrilátor, přístroj pro stanovení CRP, diagnostický ultrazvuk a 24 hodinové měření tlaku krve). Nejde o komerční prezentaci, ale o nezávislé vyzkoušení jednotlivých metod.

Jak bude místnost organizována?

  • Nejprve se registrujte na přesný čas do tabulek při registraci (ve středu 28. června) nebo přímo před místností ve 2. patře (29. a 30. června).
  • Po registraci obdržíte brožurku „Skills Lab Guide“, kde budou krátké texty ke každé metodě. Pokud si ji předem prostudujete, umožní Vám to snadnější provedení metody.
  • Přijďte ve Vámi zvolený čas (raději 5–10 minut předem).
  • Asistentkou budete ve vpuštěni dovnitř, na každém stanovišti bude příslušný přístroj, úvod do dané metody a přesný postup.
  • V případě nesnází Vám radou pomůže označený personál přímo v místnosti „skills lab“.
  • Pro každé stanoviště je stanoven čas 4,5 minuty. Prosíme čas dodržte, aby si mohli danou metodu vyzkoušet i další kolegové. Na časový limit budete upozorňováni časomírou a akustickým signálem: první po 4,5 minutách = dokončete metodu a přejděte na další stanoviště, druhý po 5 minutách = začněte na dalším stanovišti
  • Po úspěšném projití všech stanovišť obdržíte certifikát o úspěšném absolvování.
  • „Jednacím jazykem“ bude: angličtina, španělština a čeština.

Posibilidad de probar aparatos modernos destinados para los consultorios de los médicos de cabecera durante el congreso WONCA 2017 (2o piso)

Estimadas/os colegas,

si quieren probar como funcionan dispositivos médicos modernos destinados para los consultorios de los médicos de cabecera, vengan al segundo piso, a la sala “skills lab” los días 29 y 30 de junio durante todo el día. En la sala habrá 8 puestos (la espirometría, la EKG (ECG) con el módulo de la detección automática del riesgo de la muerte súbita, el aparato automático de rehabilitación, la medición de ABI (Ankle Branchial Index), el defibrilador externo automático, el aparato para la determinación de la PCR, la sonografía diagnóstica y la medición de la presión sanguínea durante 24 horas). No se trata de ninguna presentación comercial, sino de una prueba independiente de varios métodos.

Cómo será todo organizado en la sala?

  • Primero Vd. se registrará para cierta hora en la tabla durante la registración (el miércoles 28 de junio) o directamente en frente de la sala en el 2o piso (el 29 y 30 de junio).
  • Después de registrarse Vd. obtendrá el folleto „Skills Lab Guide“, donde habrá textos cortos sobre cada método. Si Vd. lo lea antes, eso le permitirá a Vd. la efectuación del método más fácil.
  • Venga a la hora elegida (mejor 5 o 10 minutos antes)
  • La asistente le llevará para dentro, en cada puesto habrá el aparto correspondiente, introducción al método correspondiente y el procedimiento exacto.
  • En caso de dificultades, el personal marcado que estará directamente en la sala „skills lab“ le ayudará con su consejo.
  • Para cada puesto hay un tiempo dado de 4.5 minutos. Haga el favor de mantener el tiempo, para que también otros colegas puedan probar el método dado. Vd. será advertido sobre el límite del tiempo por el cronómetro y por la señal acústica: la primera después de 4.5 minutos = acabe el método y vaya al otro puesto; la segunda después de 5 minutos = empiece en el otro puesto
  • “Los idiomas de trabajo” serán: inglés, español y checo.
