WONCA go virtual
Since the COVID-19 pandemic is going on with traveling restrictions and rules for social distancing we are not able to run a conference with presence in Berlin. This is sad but your safety is our highest priority. In order to maintain our work as family doctors as well as researchers and teachers we think that we can offer an excellent solution.
We have switched to a totally virtual conference with a changed time frame. Many presentations will have real time recording with possibility of immediate discussion. There will be five parallel slots from Wednesday December 16th 14:45 CET to Saturday, December 19th 14:15 with workshops only in the morning time on Thursday and Friday and all other formats in the afternoons or on Saturday morning. All other accepted presentations will be presented in our virtual library.

Dear participants. We are now accepting Late Breaking Abstracts about Covid-19 theme for DEGAM session only. Preferrably in following categories: Symposium, lecture, 1slide 5min, e Poster. Possible in German or English. The deadline is June 15.
Bis zum 15. Juni können noch Abstracts eingereicht werden zum Thema Covid-19 für reine DEGAM-Sitzungen vorzugsweise in folgenden Kategorien: Symposium, Vortrag, 1slide 5min, e Poster - in Deutsch oder Englisch.

World Family Doctor Day 2020
World Family Doctor Day (FDD) – 19th May - was first declared by WONCA in 2010 and it has become a day to highlight the role and contribution of family doctors in health care systems around the world. The event is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the central role of our specialty in the delivery of personal, comprehensive and continuing health care for all of our patients. It’s also a chance to celebrate the progress being made in family medicine and the special contributions of family doctors globally.
In celebration of this year’s FDD – which acknowledges and applauds the work of family doctors globally, we rather presciently chose the theme of “Family doctors on the front line: first in, last out”.
