Q. When and where will the 19th WONCA Europe Conference take place?
A. The 19th WONCA Europe Conference will take place in Lisbon, at the Lisbon Congress Centre, from Jul. 2 until Jul. 5, 2014.
Q. I am supposed to deliver a presentation at the 19th WONCA Europe Conference, in Lisbon. Do you have a background slide I can use?
A. Yes, we can provide a PowerPoint slide to structure your presentation. Please make this request to this e-mail address: wonca2014@apmgf.pt
Q. In which abstract category can I submit a systematic review communication?
A. Systematic reviews are considered in the Research category.
Q. I’m a doctorate student; can I apply for the student category of the registration fees?
A. No, post-graduation or doctorate students cannot apply to this fee. Only medical students are considered for this category of registration fee.
Q. Is there a separate fee to attend the 19th WONCA Europe Conference opening ceremony/reception?
A. No, access to the opening ceremony /reception is included in the full registration fee paid by WONCA direct members, delegates, junior doctors, trainees and students.
Q. I am interested in becoming an exhibitor/sponsor, at the 19th WONCA Europe Conference. What do I need to do?
A. You should contact the exhibition manager in order to gather all the relevant information. Please use this e-mail: wonca2014exhibition@leading.pt.
Q. I am a journalist/photojournalist and I wish to cover the 19th WONCA Europe Conference. What do I need to do?
A. In order to secure a press accreditation, you need to send you personal data (name, media that you represent, address, telephone and e-mail contacts), as well as a copy of your professional press card (or statement from your organization, proving an editorial role) to the following e-mail: wonca2014@apmgf.pt. You should be aware that access to certain areas of the conference venue or to a number of scientific sessions may be restricted by the organization. Likewise, the image or sound recording can be interdicted in pre-established areas. A press accreditation to the 19th WONCA Europe Conference does not include access to social programme.
