Welcome Message from the Chairman of the International Advisory Board
Dear colleagues and friends,
The 19th European General Practice and Family Medicine Conference/WONCA Europe is in progress. To put Family Practitioners of all over Europe in close contact allowing them to share know-how, experiences, concerns and emotions can only be beneficial to the class.
At a time when it becomes even more necessary the provision of efective, balanced and efficient heath care services, more attention should be provided, as a consequence, to Health Care Services with quality and proximity that only Family Medicine can render. The themes of the Congress were selected in order to meet present requirements and I hope that it will be a success and will meet everyone’s expectations.
I hope I will see you in Lisbon next year.
