WONCA Europe 2014 will be an enormous success!
By the end of February, the statistics of the 19th WONCA Europe Conference were enlightening: everything is on track and the Lisbon event should become one of the most sought-after and interesting meetings of the European Region of WONCA, in recent times.
The organisation had received, until the 28th of February, more than 1900 registration entries and validated around 500 oral presentations, over 1000 posters and close to one hundred workshops. It is worth mentioning, as well, that family doctors from 61 different countries were registered to participate.
Alongside Portugal, the countries with the largest number of registration entries were Spain, Croatia, Netherlands, Finland and Serbia. Outside the European region, the most representative groups will come from nations like Brazil, USA, Canada and Australia. The appetite for information related to the event is also noteworthy. Since September of last year, the conference website collected over 41.000 visits.
In February, an average of 422 Internet users visited, daily, the on-line embassy of the 19th WONCA Europe Conference.
