VdGM Pre-Conference Exchange in London, UK
Announcement
Dear Vasco da Gamians,
We would like to welcome you to the vibrant city of London to participate in the pre-conference exchange for WONCA Europe 2022.
There will be 20 places available and demand is likely to be high. Therefore, we will need to select the participants based on a number of criteria, including:
- Good English proficiency
- A willingness to take an active part in the exchange programme and to share their learning in their home country
Preference will be given to applicants, who have not taken part in an exchange before and only those also attending the VdGM pre-conference are eligible to apply.
Pre-Conference Exchange Timeline
Arrival: Wednesday, 22nd June
Primary care exchange in London practice: Thursday, 23rd - Friday, 24th June
Weekend free to explore the beautiful city of London with the option for some joint activities with other exchange participants
VdGM pre-conference: Monday, 27th - Tuesday 28th June (morning)
Main WONCA conference: Tuesday 28th June (evening) – Friday, 1st July (morning)
Further Information for Participants
Each participant will need to find their own accommodation. There are plenty of places close to the Excel, where the main conference is taking place, but also all across London (depending on where your host practice is located) with good transport links.
We will be arranging a social programme for participants to take part in on the evenings of the pre-conference exchange.
Conference and pre-conference tickets are NOT included and need to be purchased by the participants in advance.

Please send your motivation letter and curriculum vitae to your National Exchange Coordinator. The deadline for application is the 17th April 2022.
